Have you ever overthought a hairstyle for an interview or new job? I know I have! I would wait until I was employed to put my hair into box braids or extended twists because it is considered “unprofessional”. Our hair will forever be misunderstood and I no longer have the confidence to rock my true tresses in new work environments - HOW SAD!
